At Faith Presbyterian Church, the Music Program is available to individuals of all ages as a medium to express their faith and to use their God given talents in the praise of God through worship.
Psalm 96:2: Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day.
The Senior Choir sings for services of worship at 10:30 AM, September through mid-June. Rehearsals for this choir are held on Wednesdays. Membership in the choir is open to youth and adults.
Youth Music consists of those in middle school and in high school. These individuals have opportunities in vocal work and also with handbells. Volunteers, Kim and Jay Kreider, will be directing these choirs for the youth. They rehearse on Sunday evenings according to the announced schedule.
The boys and girls in the Alpha Choir are in grade five and younger. This choir gives the children an opportunity to express their growing faith through the medium of the singing voice. The Alpha Choir rehearses on Sunday mornings following worship.
The Adult Handbell Choir is currently ringing three octaves of bells and rehearses on Wednesdays. Membership in the Handbell Choir is open to youth and adults.
A choir of females of all ages is organized to sing during worship on Mother's Day.
Each year a male choir is organized to sing during worship on Father's Day. Males of all ages are welcome to sing in this choir that is usually directed by Suzanne Seem.
The organ is the main instrument used in worship at Faith Presbyterian Church. Other instruments that are used include piano, handbells, guitar, banjo, violin, flute, clarinet, trumpets, baritone, barred Orff instruments, recorders, cello, and percussion.
Members and friends of Faith Church offer special music to the glory of God during the services of worship during the summer. The special music is provided by instrumental and vocal music in the forms of solos and small ensembles.
