In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:4
Faith Presbyterian Church has been engaged in a congregation to congregation partnership with the Riamakurwe Parish of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa in Nyeri, Kenya since 1998.
Being in partnership with Presbyterians in another culture has taught us much about discipleship and hospitality. Through visits to one another we have learned to open ourselves up to the unexpected ways Christ’s love can shine through another person to teach us new ways of being a disciple. We have engaged in prayer, bible study, and devotional time in person and through phone calls, conference calls, letter writing and joint worship services.
We have joined with them in their ministry to the destitute children of the Nyeri area through the support of the Tumaini Children’s Home.
