(High School Youth Ministry)
G.L.U.E. is the acronym chosen by a group of high school youth at Faith Presbyterian Church. It stands for God Leads Us Everywhere. Several meetings with the youth at Faith Church were held during the spring of 2008 to determine how to engage high school students in their own ministry. After several lively discussions and needs assessments, these students expressed a desire to meet more regularly and become more intentional in their participation within Faith Presbyterian Church. During 2009 dates were established and activities brainstormed and G.L.U.E. became an active component of Christian Education.
G.L.U.E. gatherings are held every third Sunday of the month (unless indicated on the church calendar). The group shares a meal and discusses Scripture and how the Bible relates to current issues in the lives of High School youth. Activities are planned at these meetings that may include; service projects, visiting other churches, and possible other meeting times for youth fellowship.
