"The office of deacon as set forth in scripture is one of sympathy, witness and service after the example of Jesus Christ. It is the duty of deacons, first of all, to minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless and to any who may be in distress." In striving to follow these words from the Book of Order, the deacons of Faith Church are each assigned a "Care Group" made up of members of  the congregation. It is hoped that a natural flow of communication will develop between each deacon and Care Group that goes in both directions so that concerns as well as joys can be shared. The deacons and the assigned groups are listed below so anyone who knows of or is experiencing  a concern or joy can reach the appropriate deacon. Prayer concerns also can be lifted up through the prayer chain ( via phone and well as e-mail )  found on this web page.
