Christian Education

To equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ.  Ephesians 4:12-13

Sunday school starts at 9:00 AM, and is offered September-May.  Classes are for ages 3 to 103.  Nursery care provided.

Our church school program is a supportive, caring, Christian community that provides a loving, nurturing environment for learning.  Our educational program emphasizes the Bible through reading, stories, prayer, art, drama, and music.  It teaches Christian values and provides an opportunity for family spiritual growth.

Focus on Bible Stories: PC (USA) “We Believe” Workshop Rotation curriculum is for ages 3 - grade 8.  Children in age appropriate classes are learning about both familiar and new bible stories using different mediums such as art, drama, music, worship.  Every four weeks a new bible story is introduced.

Focus on the Bible: The Senior High class (grades 9 – 12) is reading “The Message Remix: The Bible in Contemporary Language”, by Eugene Peterson.  They are walking through the bible week by week.  The focus is on developing & growing in their relationship with Christ. 

Focus on Life: Adult Sunday school has two offerings: topical subjects and walking through the New Testament with the daily devotional, “My Time with God”.
