Faith on the Road is not a standing committee of the church, but rather a program of renewal and transformation for Faith Church. Those involved in guiding the congregation through the renewal process are eager to help Faith church find its way into the future, to be relevant in the 21st century as a people of God, and to be able to witness strongly in today’s culture to the transforming grace of Christ.
We are helping the church learn to become a thinking, discerning, listening congregation that actively seeks to hear God’s will and word for our lives. We meet as needed and participate in training programs through the presbytery to help us as we guide the congregation.
The process began in 2006 and has reached the point where a Guiding Vision document has been created for the congregation. We are poised to begin interpreting what this vision means for us as we plan programs and go about the daily details of being a people of God.
